Manager’s Responsibilities

1. *Attend all monthly meetings or send a coach in his/her place.

2. *Attend the mandatory coaches’ clinic and/or rules interpretation meeting in February.

3. Call all girls on their team in January, before registration, to let them know when and where to sign up.

4. *Attend the draft of all players in your division in March.

5. Have sponsor and sponsor fee into the Vice President by March 16th.

6. Hand in player roster to Player Representative by April 21st.

7. Hold practices beginning April 2nd and have at least 2 scheduled practices a week. Turn in practice schedules to Division Commissioner.

8. Have all equipment in order and pick up any new equipment on the date assigned by the Vice President.

9. *Have the team decorate a car and march in the annual parade in April. Soph and Deb Division teams may participate if they so chose.

10. Coordinate your team during Picture Day in June.

11. Participate on a committee for the Annual Awards Picnic in July.

12. *Participate in the Evergreen Park tournament for your division.

13. *Work on one of the following events during the year: Registration, Spring Tag Day, or Awards Picnic.

14. Be responsible for your conduct, your coaches’ conduct, your players’ conduct and your parents’ conduct during games and practices.

15. Get fields ready to play after a rain.

16. Set up fields ½ hour before game time.

17. Notify all your players one week after the draft.

18. If you are the winning manager, call in your score to your league commissioner within 24 hours or you will forfeit game.

19. Will inform the President of any injuries, during a practice or a game, as soon as possible.

20. Inform the Player Representative of any player who quits or is unable to play due to injury or other circumstance.

21. No manager or coach will smoke in the dugout or the playing area during the games or practice. 1st Offence--team warning; 2nd offence—suspension.

22. Manager or coach must be 18 years of age or older.

23. Be knowledgeable of and adhere to the rules.

24. Pass out and collect any forms given to the team.

25. Select his/her coaches after the managers draft and submit to the Player Representative by April 1st.

*Manager participation in all four areas of: Mandatory Meetings, Parade, Age Division E.P.G.S.L. Tournament, and one event will earn registration credit for the following year.

Coaches Responsibilities

1. Be knowledgably of and adhere to all the rules.

2. To assist the manager in fulfillment of all the rules.

3. To act as manager when required to do so.

Any manager or coach guilty of misconduct during a game may at the discretion of the umpire, be removed from the game with or without warning and may be subject to probation/suspension.
